What We Believe

We Believe, Teach, and Confess

God's Word is inerrant and is the only source of truth. It is the only norm for doctrine and the only way for man to know His perfect and righteous will.

Repentance is recognition of man's inability to save himself. God's Word shows man to be a pure enemy of God, a sinful being in need of forgiveness.

All people have sinned and can only plead to God for mercy and forgiveness.  But Christ Jesus came to take the punishment they deserve and has won forgiveness for them. In His forgiveness people have hope and peace in this world and life in the world to come.

Christ Jesus, true God and true Man, born of a virgin, died on the cross as a universal payment for mankind's continual sin and unworthiness.  He was crucified to give man forgiveness and peace from God. He has left us His true body and blood to grant us forgiveness of our sin and to strengthen our faith in Him alone.

Easter Morning Jesus rose from the dead, the first of a resurrection which will come to all people.  Some will rise to condemnation. Those who live by faith will rise to everlasting life with God in the perfect joy of heaven.
