What to Expect

Your first visit to Grace Lutheran Church:

What's a service like?

We are a small congregation that follows the traditional Divine Service Settings from the Lutheran Service Book, with each service followed by a fellowship gathering with refreshments voluntarily provided by our members.

What's the music like?

We sing praises to the Lord with the accompaniment of our wonderful organist in our choir loft and on special occassions we will be treated to the Grace Choir or the Children's Choir.

How do people dress?

The Lord welcomes his flock at Grace, regardless of their dress.  However, for the most part, other than special holiday services, our congregation will usually be found in casual dress.

What about my kids?

Sunday School classses are held one hour prior to our Divine Service.  God's children of all ages are welcome to our services.  The young children are often treated in a group to a special lesson from Pastor as they gather at the front of the sanctuary during our service. They also sing at selected worship services.

Can I take communion?

Grace practices close(d) communion (see "About Us") with wafer (His Body) and chalice of wine (His Blood) every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sunday of the month plus on most church festival services.  We gather in groups of 6 - 8 communicants at a time at the altar to receive His body and blood in a very "close communion" with Him.  Guests are asked to speak to Pastor prior to the service if they desire to receive communion.

How can I get connected?

Feel free to contact Pastor at any time with any questions you may have at the phone number or email listed at the bottom of this page.  You may also contact any of our council members.

Where do I park?

There is ample parking immediately adjacent to the church.  There is direct access to the church entrance from the church driveway.

Handicapped Accessible?

There is Handicapped parking immediately adjacent to the main church double door entrance.  Immediately inside the main church double door entrance is an electric chair lift to the sanctuary level.
